I didn't know about LabLit.com, but I've noticed more science popping up in "regular" fiction lately. My dad was excited when his job (transgenic mice) came up in The Time-Traveler's Wife.
I agree... and I know you'd like Percival's Planet; lot's of astronomy, of course!
